No Man’s Sky creator Sean Murray might be teasing an incoming announcement for Hello Games’ survival adventure title. He recently retweeted one of his own tweets from March of last year, in which he mentioned that a “small” announcement is incoming, before going on to tease it a little bit more with another follow up tweet.

This is notable because the tweet in question – the one from last year – was referring to an update to No Man’s Sky that would actually go on to be not that small. The update in question was No Man’s Sky NEXTwhich was the most substantial update the game has had to date, adding multiple major features and mechanics to the game, and all-around improving upon the base experience quite significantly.

If whatever announcement Hello Games have planned for the game next – if there is an announcement, that is – is as significant as NEXT was, fans and players of the games probably have some exciting stuff to look forward to. Then again, we don’t know if Murray’s Twitter activity is teasing a new announcement- we’ll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you updated.
