EA have announced that they’ll finally be offering their subscription service on the PS4 as well, come July, as they had teased earlier in the year that they would. Sony has in the past been reluctant to bring over the same to their console, since they did not feel it offered enough value to their consumers, but clearly something has changed their mind.

EA Access will be coming over to the PS4 in July, and will offer the same prices for subscriptions as the service does on the Xbox One. Consumers can purchase a month-long subscription for $4.99, while an annual subscription can be purchased for $29.99. EA Access offers access to a vault that contains over 50 of EA titles, both recent and old.

It’s not yet known which games will be featured in EA Access’ PS4 library- considering the lack of backward compatibility with the PS3, one would assume that the lineup will be smaller than the one on Xbox One. Meanwhile, the service also offers trial periods for all of EA’s major new releases (including the likes of Mass Effect Andromeda, Battlefield 5, FIFA 19, and Anthem in recent years), allowing players to play said game for a ten hour period a couple weeks prior to their worldwide launch.
