Remnant - From the Ashes_02

Life is far from ideal in Remnant: From the Ashes, the upcoming third person shooter from Gunfire Games (of Darksiders 3 fame). An inter-dimensional force called the Root has invaded Earth and left humanity in shambles. In order to survive and ultimately defeat it, players must travel to other realms. One of those is Rhom, which can be seen in the newest trailer below.

Rhom is interesting because its residents fought the Root a good thousand years before they came to Earth. Unfortunately, Rhom is now irradiated, likely the result of nuclear warfare. If nukes couldn’t defeat the Root, what will?

Remnant: From the Ashes sees players exploring randomly generated worlds full of different events, quests, and enemies. There are four worlds in total, including the beautiful but dangerous Yaesha. You can also choose to play with two other players to best some of the tougher challenges.

Releasing for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Remnant: From the Ashes is out on August 20th. Check out our interview with the developers through here to get more information on the game.
