Nintendo’s cross between a platformer and creation toolset, Super Mario Maker 2, is almost here, and with just a few days left before launch, Nintendo have released a short but sweet launch trailer for the game. Take a look at it below.

On top of offering the same, compelling experience of building your own Mario levels with a host of creation tools, Super Mario Maker 2 improves upon its predecessor in various ways. It adds new tools and objects to tinker with, adds a brand new UI (though you’ll be forced to use the touchscreen in handheld mode), a story mode with over a 100 pre-created levels by Nintendo, new themes and mechanics, and, of course, the ability to create your own Super Mario 3D World-themed stages.

Super Mario Maker 2 is out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on June 28. It will require less than 3 GB of storage on your system, so you needn’t worry about clearing up too much space. Nintendo have also confirmed that a post-launch patch will add the ability to play online with your friends. Read more on that through here.
