That's also how much space you require for one Red Dead Redemption 2 horse.

Super Mario Maker 2 recently received a blowout of information during yesterday’s Direct presentation. Nintendo went into detail on a great deal of stuff, from what’s new to the game, what’s been improved, its new story mode, what its online features and functionalities are going to be, and a lot more. And with the game now officially up for pre-purchase on the Switch eShop, we also know how much storage space it will require on your system.

The number is surprisingly and blessedly small. The game will only require 2.8 GB of space on your memory to be downloaded- which is incredibly tiny by today’s standards. Most games have patches that are several times bigger than that, while some games themselves can go up to as high as a hundred gigs (looking at you, Red Dead Redemption 2). In light of the literally endless content Super Mario Maker 2 promises, less than 3 GB seems like a blessing.

Super Mario Maker 2 is out exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on June 28.
