The second season of Apex Legends is almost here. With it comes a lot of new material, a big map shake up, and, apparently, dinosaurs. Along with all that, the game will also see something that’s much more common with these types of games that Apex Legends lacked in the beginning: challenges. On the day before the season goes live, we get some details about how it’ll work.

As detailed via a new blog post, the game will have both weekly and daily challenges. You’ll complete this to level up your battle pass. There will be three daily challenges per day. Completing these will unlock Stars, and once you unlock enough Stars, you level up your battle pass.

There will be seven weekly challenges. They will take much longer than daily challenges, and will net you one level up on your battle pass. Most weekly challenges won’t disappear, either, so you can complete week 3’s challenges even in week 4, for instance. There will, however, be three weekly challenges that resets every week. You can read more details through the link above.

Apex Legends is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Season 2 kicks off on July 2nd.
