Call of Duty Modern Warfare

The next installment in the Call of Duty series is looking to buck some trends. It’s ditching the traditional season pass structure that’s been standard for years and looks to be going into some darker storytelling. Another way it’s already bucked a trend, though, has been the reveal schedule. Not only was it revealed much later than usual, the multiplayer side has been silent for way longer than expected. But now the silence has been broken as tomorrow we’ll finally get a look at Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer.

Infinity Ward announced on their official Twitter that not only are we going to get a look at multiplayer, but it’ll even be a brand new 2v2 mode called Gunfight. It will be streamed via two influencers, TeePee and Courage, on their Twitch pages. The new mode is supposed to be a fast-paced and streamlined mode, which is hard to imagine considering COD is already pretty fast.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will release on October 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The multiplayer preview will go live tomorrow, July 11th, at 10 PST.
