After several delayed and canceled projects from the workhorse studio of PlatinumGames, Astral Chain rushed out seemingly from nowhere. The game was born from a partnership between the studio and Nintendo, and it’s launched to good sales and critical acclaim (you can read our review through here). To celebrate the game’s success, we’ve got some fun artwork from the studio behind it.

From PlatinumGames’ official Twitter account, they posted a message saying thanks to all those who helped make the game a success, along with a piece of artwork depicting several of the major characters, from Platinum artist Hajime Kimura. It’s a cute piece, and hopefully they’ll be more in the future as their games continues to sell. I imagine they’ve got one for Bayonetta 3 on standby at this point.

Astral Chain is available now exclusively for Nintendo Switch. If you’re wondering about its availability on other platforms, well, I’ll direct you to Hideki Kamiya’s elegant wordsmithing for that one.
