The legendary flight simulator series returned last year in the form of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. The game was a breakout success and lead to the successful revival of the series. It’s also received a good deal of post-launch content, and more is on the way. And this time it’s bringing some single player content with it.
The next DLC packs will span from September to November with each bringing a piece of an ongoing story that’s said to be roughly the length of the main campaign. You are in conflict with a rogue submarine that’s gone off the grid after the conclusion of the war. While dogfights are still the focus, which each DLC bringing a new gameplay feature, you will be tasked with neutralizing this unexpected threat from below. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The DLC packs will release September 25, October 23, and November 27.
