Activision recently launched Call of Duty: Mobile for all Android and iOS devices, and the fact that it’s a Call of Duty title and that it’s a free-to-play game together meant that it was always destined to be a success. Now, new data is suggesting that the game’s performing about as well as you would have expected.

Sensor Tower is reporting on Twitter that within the first two days after its release, Call of Duty: Mobile has already been downloaded 20 million times across all iOS and Android devices (including both, the Activision and Garena versions of the game). In terms of revenue, the multiplayer shooter has raked in more than $2 million so far. India, it seems, is the game’s most popular market, accounting for 14 per cent of all of the game’s installs, while the US is ranked ninth, with 9 per cent installs.

PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds and Fortnite are, of course, huge in the mobile space, but one has to wonder what the release of Call of Duty: Mobile will do to change that.

The game is available now across all iOS and Android devices. Recently, Activision released a patch for the game to remove the option to play it with a controller. Read more on that through here.
