The gaming world is abuzz with news on the next generation of consoles. We recently got a ton of news dropped on Sony’s PlayStation 5, and not long ago, we got some patents on the next Xbox that point at some interesting possible features. But we still have the current crop of systems going strong, and Sony and Microsoft are updating them still, with the Xbox One getting a pretty major one this month.

The October update will include some new family settings, which will allow parents more freedom with how they manage their child’s allotted time on the system. Alongside that, there will be a wish list notification update for when an item you’re watching goes on sale. For streaming fans, there’s also going to be Mixer built directly into the dashboard. For full details on the entire update, you can look at the official blog through here.

No date is given for when the update will go live, but it’s slated to go live across all Xbox One systems some time this month.
