Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is an action-adventure game developed by Tantalus Media and published by Nintendo.
It’s an HD remaster of the 2013 Nintendo 3DS title Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, which was developed by Next Level Games.
The action-adventure remaster sold over a million and a half units over the course of the quarter, Nintendo has announced.
Princess Peach: Showtime! also received updated figures, having crossed 1.3 million sales as of June 30th, up from 1.22 million.
It sold an additional 16,000-plus units, with the Nintendo Switch once again topping proceedings on the hardware side of things.
The HD remaster sold an additional 33,000-plus units in Japan over the course of its second week on sale.
The remaster was also accompanied by Luigi's Mansion 3 re-entering the top 10, taking the No. 7 spot.
Luigi's return to Evershade Valley is a welcome one.
It is the second-fastest selling Nintendo Switch game of the year in the UK, behind Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
