Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s release is looming on the horizon, and with pre-loads having been live on Xbox One and PS4 for a while now, millions are gearing up to play the shooter merely hours from now. Ahead of its launch, if you’ve got a hankering to watch the game’s campaign in action and just can’t wait, you can check out this new video, which shows the first twenty minutes of the game (courtesy of IGN).

The video gives us a good idea of the kind of storytelling and tone the campaign is going for, and at least based on these 20 minutes, there’s definitely reason to be excited for the game’s more grounded and understated style. There’s plenty of gameplay in there as well, and of course, the visuals are looking absolutely excellent, owing to the new(ish) engine that Infinity Ward have made use of. Take a look below.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out tomorrow for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. New details have recently emerged about its seasonal content and a specialist difficulty of sorts, while Activision have also given assurances that the game won’t have any loot boxes (at launch, at any rate).
