It’s been a rather poor week for Ubisoft. Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Division 2 under-performed, with the former ending up “significantly below” expectations, and company shares dropped by 29 percent. The latter was due to the delay of Watch Dogs: Legion , Rainbow Six: Quarantine and Gods and Monsters.

While the title is still set to release in 2020, the development team at Ubisoft Toronto is using the additional time “to deliver this ambitious vision at the best possible level of quality.” In a statement on Twitter, it stated that it wants to bring “our near-future London to life in the way it deserves. We are confident this will ensure Watch Dogs: Legion is the immersive, innovative experience we set out to create, and the one you aspire to play. We look forward to sharing more with you very soon.”

Watch Dogs: Legion is unique from previous entries and even among Ubisoft’s open world titles by allowing players to recruit any NPC to their cause. About 20 characters can be recruited and played at any given time. The objective is to overthrow the authoritarian police state that London has become and that means seeking and hiring people with different kinds of skill-sets.

Watch Dogs: Legion is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC but will also be enhanced for the next-generation of consoles. Stay tuned for more gameplay and details in the coming months.
