Google’s Stadia seems to not be on the best footing right now. It feels like nothing but problems and problems, but who knows what will happen if Google continues to support the thing and not put it in the graveyard of many projects from the past. Who knows if that’ll happen, but it seems as if they are at least putting some effort in.

According to reports via VGC, Google has hired several veteran Assassin’s Creed alumni to helm the first studio that will focus on Stadia development. Sébastien Puel, Francois Pelland and Mathieu Leduc all are joining, all of which were veterans of Ubisoft. Interestingly, Jade Raymond is in charge of first party input, who is also an alumni of Ubisoft. A lot of great talent there.

Right now there’s no information for the studio or what specifically is being worked on. While there has been only a small amount of exclusive content for Stadia right now, it seems Google is potentially gearing up for quite a bit more.
