Persona 5 Scramble’s Story Takes 45 Hours to Complete, As Per Famitsu Review

The latest Famitsu reviews became available today, which includes a review for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. Developed by Omega Force and P-Studio while offering beat ’em up gameplay, it takes place after Atlus’s RPG. So how did it fare?

Along with scoring 36/40 among the four reviewers, they revealed that the story takes 45 hours to complete. That’s fairly hefty, even if this weren’t a Musou-style game. The review also noted that the story is very well done and how fun it is to travel around the game world. Interestingly, while the pacing and performance were praised, the cutscenes were criticized for being too frequent at times.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is out on February 20th in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. It doesn’t have a release date in the West yet, but it should be interesting to see how it performs in Japan. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
