Destiny 2 - Trials of Osiris_03

Bungie revealed in its latest blog post that it’s targeting today to release hotfix 2.8.0.2 for Destiny 2. Though featuring a number of fixes, the main purpose of the update is to fix a bug that prevented the resetting of Trials of Osiris challenges. Of course, we won’t know for sure if it works until Trials of Osiris rolls around this Friday.

Other issues that will be fixed include Raiju’s Harness, an Exotic which was bugged to allow players to use Whirlwind Guard continuously. This has since been fixes. Those who haven’t received a Powerful Drop from their first weekly clear of a Legendary Lost Sector should also see that issue resolved. And if you like the Titan arms ornament in the Season Pass but hated how it blocked you view, it should also be fixed.

If that weren’t enough, crashes in Gambit should also stop happening. You can check out some of the otehr changes below though full patch notes will be out later today. Bungie also confirmed that it will be adding seasonal mod slots to Faction armor, among other sets. Unfortunately, this will be in an update for next month. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.

  • Fixed an issue where upgrades on the Season Pass where only unlocked for one character and will now properly unlock for the entire account.
  • Fixed an issue where the first weekly clear of a Legendary Lost Sector would not award a powerful drop.
  • Fixed an issue with Raiju’s Harness that allowed players to hold Whirlwind Guard indefinitely.
  • Fixed an issue where Titan Season Pass arms ornament would block first person view.
  • Season Pass SMG and Shotgun will now create Warmind cells with Season Pass ornaments equipped.
  • Fixed an issue where Sentinel Titans were able to extend Sentinel Shield/Banner Shield by suppressing themselves.
  • Fixed an issue where players were not getting the correct amount of planetary materials from bunker upgrades.
