Ahead of its release at the end of this month, Microsoft have released a launch trailer for Gears Tactics. It introduces the game’s central narrative premise, as well as some of its main characters, before going over its core gameplay mechanics, including its turn-based tactical battles, progression, customization, classes, and more. Take a look below.

Promising a campaign that lasts over 40 hours, Gears Tactics is looking to deliver an experience series fans might not be used to. The developers have also promised that it’s a single player-only experience, while it has no microtransactions either, which is something they’ve highlighted in this trailer as well.

Gears Tactics – which wrapped up development earlier this month – is out on PC on April 28, with a simultaneous Xbox Game Pass launch for the platform. You can check out its system requirements through here. An Xbox One version is also in development, but doesn’t currently have a release date.
