Nintendo has released details for its next big update to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which goes live on April 23rd. Along with introducing new merchants, it also preps the game for several new seasonal events taking place in April, May, and June. Check out the trailer below to see it all in action.

Many new features are ones a recent datamining leak spoke about. The new merchants in question are Leif and Jolly Redd. The former will sell foliage, shrubs and flower seeds to players while the latter appears occasionally to sell uniquely colored furniture and in-game art. If the art pieces are real, they can be donated to the museum for display. The first seasonal event coming up is Nature Day which runs from April 23rd to May 4th and is all about forestation, gardening, and whatnot.

May Day Tour runs from May 1st to 7th and allows for traveling to a strange island with a “special visitor” that might be familiar to some. Next is International Museum Day which runs from May 18th to 31st and has players collecting stamps for a reward. Finally, Wedding Season will take place from June 1st to 30th and sees players traveling to Harvey’s Island for the weeding of Reese and Cyrus.

There’s quite a lot to look forward to so stay tuned for patch notes in the coming weeks and months.
