Gearbox Software has unveiled its third campaign DLC coming to Borderlands 3 along with a new Takedown. Launching on June 25th, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption sees players traveling to Gehenna to take down The Devil Riders and help rebuild the town of Vestige. New Crew Challenges and side quests will be offered with some affecting how the town reacts to you.
Two new characters – Rose, who wields a pistol and katana, and Juno, a brawler with a past – are introduced. There’s also a mysterious narrator who will comment on things from time to time. Along with new loot, there will also be a Jetbeast hoverbike for travel that can be customized. You’ll also come across various environmental items like the Breezebloom for jumping super-high and the Traitorweed which enemies fight for you (temporarily, of course).
As for the new Takedown, it goes live on June 4th and will be free for all players. Players will go to Minos Prime and face off against some rogue Guardians en route to a new miniboss and boss. New cosmetics, themed weapons and gear will be offered for those who managed to complete it. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay en route to the DLC’s release.
