Marvel’s Avengers Details Accessibility Options And Representation

Even though the COVID-19 outbreak caused the world to seemingly halt in its tracks, it seems like we are still looking to have a pretty packed holiday in the gaming world. I mean, first and foremost, we’re looking at new consoles launching. But we can’t forget the game based on what might be the biggest single franchise in the world right now, Marvel’s Avengers. The superhero team is enjoyed by many around the world, and it seems those developing the game are taking that to heart.

As detailed via the official Twitter, the development teams want to focus a good deal on accessibility, both in the real world for players, as well as for the diversity within the game itself. For instance of the latter, they’ve done motion capture for wheelchair-bound NPCs to make it more realistic. In the former, they have a variety of difficulties, subtitle options and high contrast user interface to help low vision players. Marvel’s Avengers is set to launch September 4th. The game will also premiere its co-op gameplay sometime next month, so stay tuned for that.
