Even though its developers say that Marvel’s Avengers will have a strong and solid foundation of single player and narrative-led gameplay, co-op is still going to be a crucial part of the experience. Besides some scant details dropped by the developers here and there, we haven’t really heard much about co-op in Marvel’s Avengers in particular, and we haven’t seen it in action at all. That, however, will be changing soon.
Taking to Twitter via the game’s official account, the developers released a new video in which they give assurances that development on Marvel’s Avengers is on track, implying that the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t going to lead to any more delays to its release. In addition to that, they have promised to share regular new updates, trailers, gameplay footage, and more going forward. This will start as early as next month, when their first “War Table” stream airs on June 24 and shows brand new gameplay details and shows off the game’s co-op.
Marvel’s Avengers is due out for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Stay tuned in the coming months to keep up with all the new details that will be released for the game.
