Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft Forward, the publisher’s “E3-style showcase”, is set for today but its major announcements have been leaking for a while. The latest is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla which, along with gameplay footage, apparently had its release date leaked. This is according to a post on the series’ official Italian Instagram, which has since been deleted but saved by Reddit user pipos666.

According to the post, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be out on November 17th. This seems to be for current-gen versions of the game, as indicated by Xbox One being mentioned. We’ll likely learn more about the release date for Xbox Series X and PS5 versions once the consoles themselves have been dated.

An interesting thing to note is that, if real, this date puts Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in direct competition with CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. The hotly anticipated FPS/RPG is out on November 19th after a number of delays. The release date for Valhalla hasn’t been officially confirmed yet so we’ll see how things play.

Stay tuned for the official announcement to potentially arrive at Ubisoft Forward. It takes place today at 12 PM PDT.
