In a surprise turn of events, Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be shipped in just one disc on the Xbox 360. Final Fantasy XIII came on 3 discs as you may all know already, compared to the single Blu-Ray disc of the PS3 version.
It is a bit interesting as to how Square Enix could have managed to fit all that in one disc. Hopefully we may come to know the compression secrets soon. The information was revealed by Famitsu. Director, Motomu Toriyama said they used real time event scenes, which caused a decrease in the game data volume.
