After a months-long wait, cross-platform play has finally come to Mojang’s Minecraft Dungeons. Players on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch can now matchmake with those on other platforms, delving into dungeons and cutting enemies apart for loot. Check out the release trailer below to celebrate this momentous occasion.

With crossplay support out of the way, the development team is now working on implementing support for cloud saves on multiple platforms. This will allow someone on, say, PC to move to another platform like Nintendo Switch and continue their progress. When the update will arrive remains to be seen so expect more details in the coming months.

Of course, there’s even more coming up next month with The Howling Peaks DLC, which adds three new story missions and a new setting. It also introduces Apocalypse Plus difficulty and 20 new Threat Levels for end-game players to tussle with. Even more content is coming in 2021 so stay tuned in the meantime.
