It is time to return to Oddworld with the newest entry, Soulstorm, which will once again see you play as Abe as he must fight his way through many dangers in a tale of class warfare and late stage capitalism, and he won’t be the only returning face for the franchise for fans, either. Today, as part of The Game Awards, a new trailer was revealed, but it also came with some unfortunate news.

The trailer, which you can see below, shows a few new pieces of gameplay that’s sure to get fans going and what you’d expect from the classic series. Unfortunately, as you can see at the end, it also confirms that the game will no longer be making 2020. If you recall, it was announced at one of the PS5 showcases to be coming to PlayStation consoles and PC this year, but alas, it was not to be.

Oddworld: Soulstorm will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC sometime in the Spring of 2021.
