Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous

Owlcat Games’ Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will have its first beta on February 2nd, available exclusively to Kickstarter backers. Along with including turn-based mode, it will have four story chapters (the fourth being partially finished). Compared to the alpha, new archetypes and quests will be included along with “the first stages of some romances.”

Of course, there will also be bugs so adjust expectations accordingly. Owlcat is looking forward to feedback, noting that, “It’s the last stage in development where your feedback can affect and change some aspects of the game, and that’s why it’s such an important milestone for us, and hearing what our backers think will be invaluable to our team.” The beta will be streamed on the developer’s official Twitch and YouTube channels on February 1st, 8 AM PST for those who want to see it first-hand.

Backers who opted for the Early Access tier or higher will receive access. One can check their tier here for more details.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is currently in development for PC, having garnered over $2 million in crowd-funding. Along with two new classes – Witch and Oracle – it introduces the Mythic system for even more specialized classes. This includes the Lich, which can resurrect dead bosses to use as party members. The RPG is currently targeting June 2021 for its release so stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
