Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One Previews Combat And Investigation In Gameplay Teaser

Frogwares has made quite the name for themselves using the Sherlock Holmes property. After several games of the iconic detective, they are now going to his past with Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One. While there have been some deep dives talking about what to expect, we now get a little taste of the gameplay.

The first  teaser was originally released as part of the Epic Games Store Showcase, and you can see it below. It previews both combat as well as some investigation the fresh-faced sleuth will do. It does seem largely familiar to what we’ve seen in the past, but perhaps a little more refined. The main story is said to be roughly 12-15 hours long and far longer with side content.

Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is set to release sometime in 2021 for most major platforms. We actually got a chance to sit down and talk with Producer and Community Manager Sergey Oganesyan about the game last year, and you can read the full interview through here.
