Resident Evil Village is likely going to be quite a meaty game, supposedly with a great amount of emphasis on exploration, and a runtime that will be much longer than Resident Evil 7. While that doesn’t necessarily have to mean a larger file size for the game, it seems like that does seem to be the case here.

As per the game’s Microsoft Store listingResident Evil Village will have a file size of 35 GB on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Meanwhile, Resident Evil Re:Verse – the multiplayer game that will be free for anyone who purchases Village – is listed as having a file size of 15 GB, with the total coming up to 50 GB.

Resident Evil Village launches for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 7. Capcom haven’t yet announced a release date for Resident Evil Re:Verse. A demo of Village is currently available for PS5, but Capcom have said that a second demo will be releasing for all platforms this Spring.
