Bandai Namco have confirmed that Tales of Arise is finally launching in September, and unsurprisingly, at the same time, they’ve also announced that the game will be releasing for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S as well. In an interview with Famitsu, producer producer Yusuke Tomizawa has also revealed some details specific to the next-gen versions of the action RPG.

On both PS5 and Xbox Series X, Tales of Arise will feature two visual modes- one to prioritize resolution, which will run the game at 4K, and one to prioritize frame rate, which will run the game at 60 frames per second. Meanwhile, Tomizawa also confirms that on the PS5, the game will support DualSense features. “The game will convey different vibrations to the player depending on the attack and action,” Tomizawa says. “For example, magic attacks will feel different between electric and fire. It will make you feel the reaction in more detail.”

Something else that’s been confirmed is that the game will support free next-gen upgrades, so if you’re getting the game on PS4 or Xbox One, you can upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X/S versions respectively for no additional cost.

Tales of Arise launches on September 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
