Just a couple of days following its most recent leak, Remedy Entertainment officially announced Alan Wake Remastered yesterday. Set to launch this Fall, we don’t know an awful lot about the game just yet, though we do know it will feature major visual upgrades and have 4K support. And while Remedy or publisher Epic Games are yet to release any official screenshots, several of them have gone up on the game’s Amazon UK listing that give us a look at how much of a graphical upgrade it’ll be.
And honestly? It looks quite impressive. The original Alan Wake was a really good looking game when it came out, and the remaster certainly seems to be doing justice to it, based on these screenshots. Everything is looking crisper and more detailed, the character models seem to have been touched up very noticeably, and the lighting looks solid. Here’s hoping it looks just as good in action. You can check out all the screenshots below.
Alan Wake Remastered is coming this Fall to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A specific release date hasn’t yet been announced.
