Bandai Namco has finally revealed what its upcoming collaboration DLC is for Tales of Arise. It’s with Sword Art Online and goes live on October 7th. There’s a boss battle with protagonists Kirito and Asuna complete with special Boost Strike moments. Each boss character also seems to have their own Mystic Artes as well.

In addition to this, players can unlock new outfits for Alphen, Shionne and Law, along with obtaining Kirito’s weapons. There’s also an exclusive Mystic Arte that Alphen can equip which sees him adapting a dual-wield stance (he even talks about needing to be faster, which is a nice reference to the SAO anime). Kirito and Asuna also join him in the attack with all three protagonists striking a dramatic finish.

The DLC will retail for $15 but a free update is also going live on the same day. This adds new difficulty levels and three bonus fights. Players can earn new weapons (like a water rifle for Shionne) by completing these. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
