Sony Europe, SCEE has said that, PS2 classics will be headed to Europe soon. We don’t know when that “soon” is but hopefully it should be available this year. Andy Stewart on the PS Blog said that it’s ‘on route’.
“They are coming, I don’t have an ETA yet but I have heard they are on route”.
Meanwhile, gamers in the NA have already got a lot of PS2 classics already ranging from, din Sphere, Maximo: Ghosts To Glory, GrimGrimoire, Ring of Red and God Hand. Is it another case of Sony treating Europe like a step-child? Who knows, but all these games should be available in Europe already.
“We will not be having the full ‘Only on PSN’ scheme. We will be replicating some of the deals but not all of them. Which ones and when I can’t confirm yet,” Stewart said.
