Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei 5 launched a couple of weeks ago, and though the wait for the RPG was an interminably long one, it’s fair to say that it more than lives up to the hype and anticipation. Soon, it will also be receiving its first post-launch patch, and while Atlus hasn’t confirmed a specific date for when that will go live, the developer has released the patch notes for it nonetheless (translation via Final Weapon).

It’s not going to be a major patch – it’s not like the game needs a lot of fixes, to be fair – but you can expect some notable changes. For instance, adjustments to the camera angles and screen brightness while navigating the overworld are incoming, in addition to bug fixes, more options in the settings menu, and more. You can check out the full patch notes below for more details.

In our review of Shin Megami Tensei 5, we awarded it a score of 9/10, saying, “A staggering scope of ambition paired with a frankly absurd amount of mechanical depth make Shin Megami Tensei 5 one of the most impressive role playing games ever, and a must play for any and all fans of the genre.” You can read our full review through here.

Shin Megami Tensei 5 is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch, but recent reports have suggested that it could also be headed to PC and PS4 in the future.

UPDATE NOTES:

  • More settings in the Options menu
  • Camera angle and screen brightness adjustment while navigating the overworld
  • Number of wind gimmicks reduced near Demon King’s Castle 3rd Stratum Hall Leyline Fount
  • Other minor bug fixes
