Developer Ebb Software has long been hard at work on its upcoming horror game, Scorn, whose development has been one filled with delays and awkwardly long periods of silence. Last month, the developer announced that Scorn has been delayed to 2022 and that a release window will be revealed after The Game Awards.
Unsurprisingly, a new release date trailer has cleared the air on the matter, which you can check out below. Scorn will be releasing sometime during October 2022. Besides that, there’s nothing worth noting in this very short trailer.
Scorn is inspired by the works of H.R. Giger, and the influences are clear from its excellent art-design. Players will be battling all sorts of horrific creatures using unique weaponry, including but not limited to a shotgun carved out of bones. Scorn will be releasing for PC and Xbox Series X/S, and will be a day 1 Game Pass title. Check out our interview with game director Ljubomir Peklar through here for more information on the game.
