R6 Extraction Spillover

While Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has been going strong with Ubisoft announcing its seventh year, its 3 player co-op sibling Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is also not left alone when it comes to post-launch content, as the developers have announced the first of many events planned for the game.

Called Spillover, it is a free crisis event in which a team of players needs to work together to face unique-large scale threats in a containment zone, as the Sprawl goes out of control and covers the subzone. Compared to the usual Sprawls, which can be cleaned up easily, these require special equipment. Called Dissolution Canisters, players need to plant them at the specific subzone and work together to fight Archaean hoards. Completing the free event will reward players with new REACT tech,  the auto-turret, which can be used in other operations.

Apart from the above, Zofia from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is joining the ranks of REACT. An attacker from Rainbow Six Siege, she is being added permanently to Extraction and will be free for everyone. Zofia comes equipped with her grenade launcher and is immune to all blinding effects. Apart from that, she is capable of reviving herself without a revive kit, which is pretty much in line with the Rainbow Six Siege, as Zofia in that game can revive herself for a short while if taken down.

The Spillover event for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is currently live for consoles and PC and is available for a limited time. Deciding on whether to try the game or not? Read our review of the game, where we rated it 6/10.
