Previously, the developers released a new video, which confirmed that this year’s showcase will feature some of the most iconic matches of the cover superstar Rey Mysterio.

Thanks to The Smackdown Hotel, we now also have detailed information on which exact matches of Rey Mysterio the players can relive through this year’s WWE 2K Showcase. The full list of matches featured can be checked out down below:

  • BONUS MATCH (Rey & Dominik Tag Match)

As mentioned above, the list features some of the well-known classic matches, such as the 2005 WrestleMania match between Mysterio and Eddie Gurrero, among others. It is interesting to note that the 2006 Royal Rumble match, which Rey Mysterio won, is not featured in the list. Similarly, the World Heavyweight Championship victory of Mysterio in WrestleMania 22 is also not in the game, though the reason for the same could be because it was against Kurt Angle, who is not featured in this year’s game.

Regardless, that is a stacked showcase lineup that players can play through and relive the legacy of Rey Mysterio. In other related news, the developers recently also revealed rew details on the MyRISE mode with a new trailer, while also highlighting the Showcase mode a bit more- check it out through here.
