Hogwarts Legacy got its long awaited gameplay blowout last week, and along with that reveal, we also got the surprising announcement that the game would also launch for the Nintendo Switch when it releases later this year. Since then, there’s been some confusion regarding whether it’s going to be a cloud-exclusive release like so many recent third party multiplatform games have been. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like that confusion is going to get cleared up just yet.
Recently, Chandler Wood – who’s the community manager at Avalanche Software, developer of Hogwarts Legacy – took to Twitter and stated that while Hogwarts Legacy is indeed coming to the Nintendo Switch, WB Games doesn’t yet have any other details to share regarding the nature of its release- so there’s still no confirmation if it’ll be a native launch.
Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch this Holiday for Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
We don't have anymore details right now except to confirm that yes, Hogwarts Legacy is coming to the Switch.
