One of the newer titles revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct Mini was Casus Ludi’s Blanc, a co-op adventure with a gorgeous monochrome art style. It’s about a wolf cub and a fawn who meet in the winter wilds. Though opposed to each other, they eventually work together and journey forth to find their respective families.
Each character has its unique traits that can help in different situations. The wolf cub can squeeze into tight spaces while the fawn can jump higher and reach out-of-the-way spots. Using the abilities in unison and working together is the key to progress. And it bears mentioning again that the overall aesthetic and visuals are simply incredible.
Blanc is out in February 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. With two-button gameplay and a wordless narrative, it’s touted as easy to jump into. For more details, check out the official website.
