Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

The Pokemon Company has kept up a quick cadence with its information rollout for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, having announced the games earlier in the year before then confirming a November launch date for the duo a couple of months ago. Of course, given the fact that there’s still some time left until that launch, many had guessed that we’d be getting more updates on the game since then- and those updates are indeed coming.

The Pokemon Company has announced that it’ll be broadcasting a new Pokemon Presents video on Wednesday, August 3 at 6 AM PT. The new presentation will bring “updates on Pokemon apps and video games, including Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.”

Where the RPG duo is concerned, series fans will be hoping for a deeper and more extensive look at the game’s setting and how the open world is structured, while new details on the co-op features will also hopefully be revealed. As far as apps go, maybe The Pokemon Company will finally talk about Pokemon Sleep– assuming it hasn’t completely forgotten that it exists.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will launch for the Nintendo Switch on November 18.
