Humankind Together We Rule

Publisher Sega and developer Amplitude Studios have announced the first major expansion for turn-based strategy game Humankind. Titled Together We Rule, the expansion will introduce new features to Humankind. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Some of the new features coming to Humankind in Together We Rule include Congress of Humankind, Embassy, Agents, Diplomatic Affinity, 6 new Cultures, 6 new wonders, new narrative events, and new music.

The Congress of Humankind features an inter-empire forum that allows players to vote and decide on global doctrines and arbitrate international conflicts together. The Embassy is a new Quarter that allows players to sign agreements such as joint training or research agreements. Players can also use their leverage to take actions like enforcing demands or reducing war support.

Cultures that make use of the new Diplomatic Affinity will be able to have their cultures take a more active role in diplomacy. The active ability will let them demilitarise a territory for 10 turn. The passive ability allows all units to collect Leverage.

The new cultures coming to Humankind will include the Sumerians, the Han Chinese, the Bulgarians, the Swiss, the Scots, and the Singaporeans.

Together We Rule will be coming to Humankind in Fall 2022.
