Last year, it was announced that Skydance New Media was working on a new AAA single player narrative-driven action-adventure game based on a Marvel property, with Uncharted creator Amy Hennig leading the team. Other than the fact that it’s being made, however, details on it have been next to nonexistent. Some rumours suggested that the title could be a Fantastic Four or Ant-Man game, but it seems that might not be accurate after all.

A recent report by @MCUStatus over on Twitter claims that the new Marvel game in development at Skydance New Media is going to star Captain America and Black Panther. The game will be set during the Second World War, and the two superheroes will allegedly “face off against the forces of hydra.”

Interestingly, in its report, Eurogamer has said that it understands this information to be correct.

Either way, we’re going to know more about the game soon enough, with a reveal having been confirmed for the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase, which is set for September 9.

Amy Hennig and her team at Skydance New Media are currently also working on a single player action-adventure Star Wars game.
