Ahead of the launch of Apex Legends Season 15, Eclipse, Respawn Entertainment has released a new trailer. This time, the spotlight is on Tressa Smith, aka Catalyst. Venturing to the shattered moon of Cleo to try and save it, Catalyst wields ferrofluid in several defensive ways as the newest Legend.
Her passive is Barricade, which reinforces doors and locks out enemies. Even empty frames can be reinforced. Piercing Spikes is her Tactical ability, which throws out ferrofluid that can turn into spikes when enemies are close. Catalyst is immune to them, and they can seemingly slow those caught.
Finally, there’s Dark Veil, her Ultimate, which raises a massive wall of ferrofluid. Opponents walking through it are slowed and partially blinded for a brief period.
Apex Legends: Eclipse goes live on November 1st and adds a new map, Broken Moon, a new Battle Pass, and Gifting. Stay tuned for more details en route to its launch.
