Respawn Entertainment and EA announced Star Wars Jedi: Survivor earlier this year, but beyond its cinematic reveal trailer and a few accompanying details, there haven’t been a great many updates on the sequel beyond that. As rumours have strongly suggested though, that will be changing soon.
Leaks have claimed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be taking the stage at The Game Awards this year, and that’s now been officially confirmed. Taking to Twitter, The Game Awards producer and host Geoff Keighley has confirmed that Respawn Entertainment’s title will receive its first gameplay showing at the upcoming event on December 8. According to Keighley, we’ll be seeing “lots of” the game, which would suggest we’re in for quite a meaty gameplay showing.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Steam page was recently prematurely updated, revealing some new details and spilling the beans on a March 15 launch. The game is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Very excited to share with the world the first gameplay and look at Star Wars Jedi: Survivor during #TheGameAwards on Thursday.
Stig and the team at @Respawn are building an incredible game and you’ll see lots of it in just a few days! pic.twitter.com/1Gt2TTmpnI
