Capping off the Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo showcased a brand new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It’s still coming to Nintendo Switch on May 12th, and the latest gameplay hints at a new threat. Check it out below.

This new threat is bent on destroying Hyrule, raining down meteors during the Blood Moon, which riles up enemies. Link fights new foes but can harness new weapons, including tracking arrows and what seems to be a cannon (that also works as a melee weapon). Perhaps most interesting is the ability to gather parts and build vehicles.

Along with traversing the world on wheels, Link can also create a flying vehicle to explore the skies. There’s quite a lot going on, and it should be interesting to see how Tears of the Kingdom expands on the Breath of the Wild formula.

The sequel will launch with a Standard and Collector’s Edition, the latter featuring various physical items. A new amiibo of Link is also coming, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
