Game Boy and Game Boy Advance Titles Coming to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Today

Game Boy titles include Metroid 2: Samus Returns and more, while Game Boy Advance gets The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap and other titles.

Game Boy_Game Boy Advance_Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack

After various rumors, Nintendo finally confirmed that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles are coming to Nintendo Switch Online today. The former is available for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, while the latter is exclusive Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Check out the trailer below to see some of the titles that will be available.

Game Boy titles include Tetris, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening DX, Gargoyle’s Quest, Game and Watch Gallery 3, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Metroid 2: Return of Samus, Kirby’s Dream Land and Wario Land 3.

On the Game Boy Advance side is Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 with 38 extra levels available from the Nintendo e-Reader accessory. There’s also WarioWare Inc, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, and The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap. Local and online play are both supported for games with multiplayer.

More games will be added to both libraries later, so stay tuned. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is available for $49.99 per year.
