Warner Bros. Games has announced that its recently-released open-world RPG Hogwarts Legacy has earned the publisher $850 million in global sales. According to Variety, over 12 million copies of Hogwarts Legacy have been sold in the first two weeks of the game’s release.
Warner Bros. Games has been quite happy with the release of Hogwarts Legacy. Earlier this week, the company described the player engagement with Hogwarts Legacy as “spectacular”, leading the company to be “very pleased” with the game’s initial launch. The publisher’s president David Haddad had also revealed a few interesting facts about Hogwarts Legacy, such as the fact that players from all over the world had logged 267 million hours into the game collectively, and defeated 1.25 billion Dark Wizards.
Hogwarts Legacy was recently released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Despite the strong sales, developers Avalanche Software and Portkey Games have revealed that they have no plans for DLC or expansions. For more details about Hogwarts Legacy, check out our review.
