Sons of the Forest Guide – All Weapons, Their Attachments And Where To Find Them

In Sons of the Forest, having weapons is super important if you want to make it out alive. We’ve put together a list of all the weapons in Sons of the Forest. This guide will give you the scoop on where you can find them. Also included is a complete guide on attachments. So, let’s get started.

Sons of the Forest All Crafted Melee Weapons

Crafted Club

• Requirements – 1 Skull, 1 Rope, 1 Stick.

Crafted Spear

• Requirements – 1 Duct Tape, Unity Knife, 2 Stick

Sons of the Forest All Collectible Melee Weapons

Bone

• Bones can be found by digging ground using the Shovel. They can also be found by exploring caves.

Stun Baton

• The Stunt Baton is near the helicopter crash area. Do note it uses batteries.

Firefighter Axe

• Open Maintenance Hatch A using the Shovel.

• Open your map and look for a location that is marked in green. This area should be somewhere near a survey equipment and a golf cart.

• Start digging the area and you will find the Firefighter. You should also be able to find the Maintenance Keycard nearby.

Machete

• The Machete can be found on the beach near a red dinghy.

Modern Axe

• You can find the Modern Axe on a body by the tent within a campsite.

Putter/Katana

• Open your map and find a cave near a huge lake. This should be marked with a green circle on the map.  Enter the cave and eventually you will come across a hole ahead to drop into a corridor.

• The corridor has a door. Open it with your Maintenance keycard which will then lead to a bunker. Escape the bunker and keep traveling along the corridor until you come across a door to your right. Inside you will find a pistol and the pistol rail. Go to the next section and this is where you will find the Putter.
• Leave the room and head upstairs and eventually you will come across two doors. One of them has the Katana and the other one has the Golden Armor. Grab them both and then make your way to level 5 to face off against an enemy and get hold of the Golden Mask.

Chainsaw and Guitar

• The Chainsaw is located near a golf cart which should be indicated by a green circle on the map. Now back to the green circle. Go there and you will find a cave. Enter the cave, and you will eventually come across a narrow space. Pass that space is a locked door.
• Use the maintenance keycard to open it.  Inside you will find a bunch of cannibals. Take them out and eventually you will reach a orange guest area. Go to the upper floor and get hold of the guitar.
• To get the chainsaw, head through the locked door to your right. And by the way, also get the Guest Keycard which you will find in the same location.

Crafted Bow

• Requirements – 1 Duct Tape, 1 Rope, 2 Sticks.

Pistol

• The Pistol is found a life raft off the shore.

• It has a GPS locator that appears as a purple spot on the map.

• There are sharks surrounding the pistol. So be careful.

Stun Gun

• The Stun Gun is found in a cave alongside the coast.
• Once you reach enter the cave and you will eventually reach a water-filled area with a bunch of enemies. At the end of this area, you will observe a light source. That is your cue. Follow it and find the shotgun. Fortunately for you, if you take a diversion, you will also find the rebreather.
• Keep on moving ahead and you will come across a radio. Keep on moving and you will come across a dead end. This is where you should be able to find the Stun Gun on a dead body.

 Revolver

• The Revolver can be found in the golf course, under Maintenance Hatch C, which is on the other side of the island.
• Once you reach there look out for some golf carts and start digging.  You’ll find the revolver next to the body of a deceased worker.

Shotgun

• You need the shovel to find the Shotgun as it is found in a grave that you’ll have to dig up.

• Thankfully, the grave is equipped with a GPS tracker so it show up on your map.

Slingshot

• Indicated by a purple waypoint, the slingshot is found in the northwest section of the map.

• Go to the location and start digging using the Shovel.

Crossbow

• The Crossbow is located under the Food and Drinks Hatch, which can be accessed using the maintenance keycard. This location is near a cave which is located near some golf carts.

• Open the hatch and you will come across enemies. Take care of them and you will come across a room which has the crossbow.

• Also, if you keep going you will find a VIP card in the security room.

Compound Bow

• Like the Crossbow, the Compound Bow can be found inside a maintenance hatch. Again, your trusty maintenance  keycard will be helpful here.
• You will also come across a golf cart right next to the location. where you need to dig up.
• On digging, the hatch will be visible. Opening it will lead you to an apartment, and the bow is located in the bathroom down there.

Grenade

• You can find them in Black Cases.

Flashlight

• Found on a dead soldier. He’ll be holding it inside the cave where you found the shovel.

Shotgun Rail

• Located in the northwest region, directly north of the Shotgun location. Look for an abandoned campsite.

Laser Sight

• Located atop the computer desk in Maintenance Room A.

Pistol Rail

• Located near a large rock pile by the water’s edge. Near to the orange raft.
