Sony has been consistently adding solid new titles to its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup – which is available via the Extra and Premium tiers – over the last few months now, and several more and several more are on their way soon. The full lineup for this month’s additions have been revealed, with several new big-hitters set to be added to the library on later this month.
Several major Bethesda releases will be arriving in the form of DOOM: Eternal, The Evil Within, and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, while first party title Sackboy: A Big Adventure will also be added. Joining them are Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Riders Republic, Slay the Spire, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Paradise Killer, and Bassmaster Fishing.
Meanwhile, the Classics catalog – which is available only via the Premium tier – will also be adding five new games- all five of which, interesting enough, are Bethesda titles. The Classics catalog will add the PS4 remasters of the original DOOM, DOOM 2, DOOM 3, and DOOM 64, in addition to Dishonored: Definitive Edition.
All games will be added on April 18.
Meanwhile, Sony has also confirmed that by May 15, it will be removing a number of titles from the Game Catalog library “as part of [its[ normal content refresh”, including Marvel’s Spider-Man, Resident Evil, and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2.
