Overwatch 2 Season 5

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Overwatch 2 Season 5 will go live on June 13th. Its launch trailer will debut on June 12th at 11 AM PST, but in the meantime, there’s a short teaser showcasing the new Mythic skin: Mythic Adventurer Tracer. Check it out below.

Unlike other Mythic Skins, this one unlocks at Tier 45 of the Premium Battle Pass but is only the base version. At Tier 65, you get the Intermediate version, and at Tier 80, the Complete version with its winged helm and accoutrements becomes available. It’s a unique approach to previous skins, allowing different parts to be customized.

Season 5 will also have a new cinematic reveal, a 5v5 Mini Comp Season, Creator Workshop Mode, the return of On Fire, a new limited-time event in Questwatch, and something called Mischief and Magic. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days. In the meantime, check out some of the planned balance changes here.
